Mohammed Jalees is the Director of Service Policy and Leadership at ServiceSG, a department at the Public Service Division (Prime Minister’s Office) that integrates the delivery of public services across public agencies seamlessly, to serve citizens better. He played a pivotal role in setting up ServiceSG in 2021, to transform and integrate Government services to be empathetic, seamless and human-centric.
With over 20 years of experience in the Public Service, Jalees has been involved in a diverse array of Whole-of-Government strategy, policy and planning efforts at the Singapore Public Service. He is the immediate past Director of the Access to Justice (A2J) Division at the Singapore Courts. Jalees was responsible for ensuring that the Courts facilitated court users’ journey into the justice system from a user-centric perspective and to kick-start a culture of facilitating access to justice among court officers. He has previously worked at the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Strategic Policy Office (Public Service Division) of the Prime Minister’s Office and the then-Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports in various policy, planning and organisation transformation roles.
