Sonny Lim

Sonny Lim has designed for some of the most recognisable brands in the world on numerous strategic design projects for almost 25 years in Germany and Singapore. The companies include Adidas, BMW, Mini, Rolls-Royce, Sony-Ericsson, Dell, Puma, Sennheiser, Philips and NeilPryde Bikes. He graduated with a Master of Science Honours Degree (M.Sc. hons) in Industrial Design from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.

As Director of Global Experience Design at HP, he leads & mentors a multinational team of talented UX & ID designers in Singapore. He draws upon a deep knowledge of expertise to formulate strategic design approaches and to provide thought leadership & vision in driving the Experience Design strategy worldwide.

The designs created by him and under his leadership have been recognised by numerous awards: Singapore President’s Design Award (2010, 2011, 2012), Good Design Award - Chicago Athenaeum, Design for Asia Gold Award, iF Design, IDEA, SGMark, GMark Japan, CES Innovation awards and Red Dot Awards.
