Hong leads the design studio at Lazada, where he heads UX/UI, research and branding across Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City, working on the shopping experience used daily by millions of people across Southeast Asia.

Before Lazada, he was Global Design Director at Xiaomi, responsible for the design of its international OS and Apps, and a senior evangelist at Microsoft, where he worked on Windows, Xbox and HoloLens experience. Outside of work he is a published author and a photographer, and has lived in Singapore for five years.
